Call for trainees interested in a Security Officer Course at Step-in Step-up (SISU)
Step-in Step-up (SISU) is a vocational training center that invites young adults, who have no access to further education but are eager to learn new skills, to join the vocational training courses. In cooperation with EXERA, we will offer a Security Officer Course, starting in November 2023.
Benefits:
- 2 month security officer training of which one month is in-classroom and 1 month is on-the job-training
- Topics include: fire safety, first aid, bomb threat, customer care, security awareness, patrolling, access control, vehicle search and self-defense
- Medical check-up, uniform, cash allowance while attending, and daily lunch
- Based on performance you may be offered a job with EXERA
Transportation costs and accommodation will NOT be provided. You need to be able to arrange your own transportation to our centre in Hlaing Tharyar Township. Being on time is crucial for a successful traineeship.

Trainee Requirements

Education
| Education Level | Grade 9 or above |
| For candidates under Grade 9, we can make an exception and accept who are proficient in written Burmese and basic understanding of English |
Working Hours
| Working Hours | Candidates who can work 12 hours per a day (Including 3 hours of overtime) |
| Shift | Ability to work both day and night shift |
Location
| Preferred Location | Preferred applicants who residing in nearby downtowns areas. |
| However, Hlaingtharyar, Shwepyitha, Mingalardon, and Thanlyin will be accepted, with a minimum of 1 (or) 2 trainees from each location out of a total of 20 trainees. |
