HEALTH CARE AIDE (HCA)
CERTIFICATE Program
HCA is a one-year program leading to certification as a Health Care Aide worker. SISU has developed and delivered a one-year Health Care Aide course with graduates going on to work in hospitals, private homes and clinics.
The program delivers a blend of integrated theory and practical class-based study. It is designed to allow the trainee to build experience in a caring role. Trainees are taught critical thinking skills concerning basic health care issues and the health and well-being of the patients.
